The town of Manavgat is famous for its large river and waterfalls. The town is visited by thousands of tourists every year. Very interesting boat tours are organized on the famous Manavgat river.

Visit the Manavgat public market and shop

In this charming Mediterranean town, a very interesting big public market is organized 2 days a week. The large public bazaar is held on the east side of the river on Mondays and on the west side of the river on Thursdays. Both open public markets spread over a very large area are very crowded and visited by thousands of tourists throughout the day. Everything is available in this public market and the prices are very reasonable.

For this interesting tour, we pick up our guests in Antalya hotels between 07:30 and 08:00 from the main gate of the hotels. The journey to the town of Manavgat takes approximately 1 hour to the east, via the main road between Antalya and Alanya.

When we reach the town, we will take our boat and take a boat tour from the Manavgat river towards the sea. During the boat tour, you can go to the terrace of the boat and watch the interesting views of the river and its surroundings. We will also pass in front of the shipyards located by the river. Very beautiful and amazing wooden boats are manufactured here.

Join us for an interesting and enjoyable day

Our boat tour towards the place where the river meets the sea will take approximately 40 minutes. You can also see interesting river turtles lined up like chains on the arms of willow trees along the riverside during the boat tour.

About 40 minutes later, we will arrive where the river meets the sea. We will tie our boat to one of the makeshift wooden piers here and we will have a fun break here.

This slightly different place where the river meets the sea will attract your attention. Here you will have the chance to swim in the sea or in the river. Or you can take walks by the river or the sea. You can also stay on the boat if you wish. Lunch will be served here on the boat.

After lunch, we will return to Manavgat. As soon as we arrive in Manavgat, we will give you free time to visit the public market. This is a typical Anatolian type market place. Here you can find everything from a to z. You can buy the products of many famous brands that you cannot distinguish from the originals at very affordable prices from this public bazaar.

If there is enough time before returning to our Antalya hotels, we can make a short visit to Manavgat waterfalls. The entrance fee to the waterfalls for this visit is not included in the price.
