About Alanya
Alanya is a Turkey's Mediterranean coastal town. The closest big city is Antalya, 135 kilometers away. Alanya is a city that has been inhabited since the fourth century BC. For this reason, the most distinctive feature of the city is its castle, which is located in its center and is surrounded by ramparts, built on the peninsula that stretches towards the Mediterranean in the form of a rocky promontory. The mountain and sea view that emerges as a result of the approach of the Taurus Mountains surrounding the north of the city to the Mediterranean reveals an extraordinary view. The modern settlement of Alanya has developed in the area between this mountain range and the coast that is more than 100 kilometers long. There are many beaches along this coast, both natural and regulated according to international rules. Therefore, Alanya is a city with extraordinary natural beauties as well as rich cultural heritage.
