Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 21/07/2025

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to tours, activities, experiences, and transfer services booked through the Tournity platform for customers worldwide.

1. General Principles

This Cancellation & Refund Policy is issued by GOLDEN COAST TRAVEL LTD, operating the Tournity platform (“Tournity”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By booking any tour, activity, or service through Tournity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following cancellation and refund terms.

Tournity operates as a travel marketplace and reservation platform connecting customers with independent local Providers.

2. Reservation Service Fee (Deposit)

All payments made to Tournity at the time of booking constitute a reservation service fee (platform commission).

This fee is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation, except where expressly stated in this policy.

The reservation service fee covers, without limitation, online booking infrastructure, customer support, payment processing, and intermediary services provided by Tournity.

3. Balance Payment (Paid Directly to Provider)

Unless otherwise clearly stated, the remaining balance of the tour or experience price must be paid directly to the Provider on the day of the activity or at a time specified by the Provider.

Any refund relating to the balance payment is the sole responsibility of the Provider and is governed exclusively by the Provider’s own cancellation and refund policy.

Tournity (GOLDEN COAST TRAVEL LTD) does not hold, control, or guarantee refunds of any balance payments made directly to Providers.

4. Provider Cancellation

If a Provider cancels a tour, fails to deliver the service, or is unable to perform the booked experience, Customers may, at Tournity’s sole discretion, be eligible for:

• a refund of the reservation service fee,
• rescheduling of the service, or
• an alternative experience of similar value,

subject to availability and operational conditions.

5. Customer Cancellation

If a Customer cancels a booking for any reason, the reservation service fee remains non-refundable.

Any request for a refund of the balance payment must be made directly to the Provider and is subject entirely to the Provider’s individual cancellation policy.

6. Force Majeure

Neither Tournity (GOLDEN COAST TRAVEL LTD) nor the Provider shall be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• severe weather conditions
• natural disasters
• strikes, transport disruptions, or government restrictions
• political unrest or security risks
• epidemics, pandemics, or health emergencies

In such cases, Customers will be offered one of the following, subject to Provider conditions:

• rescheduling of the service at no additional cost, or
• a full refund of all payments made, including the reservation service fee and any balance payments already received by the Provider.

7. Refund Processing

Refunds of reservation service fees (where applicable) are processed only by Tournity (GOLDEN COAST TRAVEL LTD).

Refunds of balance payments are processed solely by the respective Provider.

Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method within 14 business days.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Cancellation & Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, England.
